Who can teach Tung’s Acupuncture?

Due to the present chaotic situation in the States, this association has received numerous enquiries about those Tung’s acupuncture courses held by some unqualified teachers in the recent years. It seems that our American acupuncture colleagues want to learn our Tung’s Orthodox Acupuncture will encounter a lot of difficulties. This is especially true in finding who is qualified to teach? Now, in order to clarify the present situation, the Advisory Committee of the W.T.A.A. has put out a simple guideline for those who wants to learn Tung’s Acupuncture as following:

1. In general, a disciple of Master Tung who can also produce a standard certificate issued by the late Master Tung himself, is automatically proof such acupuncturist is a competent and qualified teacher.
   
   
2. Any MD or acupuncturist, who has done a full-time or Part-time clinical attachment with a disciple of Master Tung for a reasonable period of training time, and obtained a certificate issued by the same disciple of Master Tung specifically, indicated this MD or Acupuncturist can not only practice but also teach Tung’s Acupuncture.
   
   
3. Any MD or Acupuncturist, who can produce a certificate issued by the W.T.A.A. stated that he/or she has been evaluated by the Educational Committee and is capable to teach Tung’s Acupuncture.

Now, if any said Tung’s Acupuncture teacher/lecturer can fulfill any of the above three, then he or she is a genuine competent Tung’s acupuncture teacher. Otherwise, don’t waste your time and money to participate their training courses!

We would like to inform our acupuncture colleagues that if someone still trying to mess the situation of our Tung’s Acupuncture. The Advisory Committee of the W.T.A.A. will be forced to set up a” Black List “to warn those US students of Tung’s Acupuncture in the States.
